About The Position

As a cosmetic merchandiser, you’ll perform project-based work to ensure cosmetic products, graphics, and displays are visually appealing and engaging to shoppers. The role includes building strong relationships with store managers and helping ensure cosmetics are available in the right quantities and at the right price. Assignments are available nationwide, with work hours ranging from 0 to 40 per week based on project volume, travel willingness, and acceptance of other projects. Work is conducted during daytime retail business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work encouraged. The position requires travel between multiple locations, generally 30 to 60 miles depending on the market.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Reliable transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to multiple locations in the designated area; travel distances may vary by market.
Effective communication with customers, team members, and the management team.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use hand tools as necessary.
Ability to adapt to changing work schedules.

Responsibilities

Implement planograms, resets, display setups, product cut-ins, and audits for various cosmetic brands.
Clean and stock shelves, retag merchandise, and rotate products.
Help ensure store appearance and merchandise displays align with planograms.
Report daily hours worked accurately through an online portal accessible by smartphone, computer, or tablet.
Photograph completed assignments and report them to the District Manager.
Partner with and build relationships with retail store associates and management.
