Cosmetic Merchandiser
About The Position
As a Cosmetic Merchandiser, you will perform project-based work to make cosmetic products, graphics, and displays visually appealing to shoppers. The role includes building relationships with store managers and helping ensure cosmetics are available in the right quantities and at the right price. Work is available nationwide, with the corporate office based in Tampa, Florida. Assignments may range from 0 to 40 hours per week, depending on project volume, travel willingness, and acceptance of other available projects. Work is generally performed during daytime retail business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work encouraged.
Requirements
- Have reliable transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to multiple locations in the designated area; some markets may require farther travel.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the Channel Partners management team.
- Be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use hand tools as necessary.
- Be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Implement planograms, resets, display setups, and product cut-ins for various cosmetic brands.
- Conduct audits, clean and stock shelves, retag merchandise, and rotate products.
- Ensure store appearance and merchandise displays align with planograms.
- Accurately report daily hours worked through an online portal using a smartphone, computer, or tablet.
- Photograph completed assignments and report them to the District Manager.
- Build relationships with retail store associates and management.
