Perry Ellis International is seeking a dynamic, highly autonomous Corporate Recruiter to join our team in Doral, Florida. Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role is designed for a self-starter who naturally takes full ownership of their work and thrives running a full desk independently. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across various business functions, driving requisitions forward from initial sourcing through to final offer acceptance with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience managing a variety of roles across a business.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); experience with modern ATS platforms like Greenhouse is a plus.
  • A true self-starter who takes end-to-end accountability for their requisitions—capable of running their desk independently without needing step-by-step guidance.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to hunt for passive talent rather than relying solely on inbound applicant flow.
  • Ability to build instant rapport and communicate confidently with hiring managers, internal teams, and job candidates.
  • A genuine interest in the apparel/fashion retail space and the ability to act as an authentic brand steward.
  • Exceptional time-management and prioritization skills to keep multiple open roles moving steadily through the funnel simultaneously.
  • Approaches hiring bottlenecks with creativity, grit, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Apparel, fashion, or retail industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Agency recruiting experience is a huge plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for roles across diverse business departments, including active sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies for active and niche requisitions using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, networking, and targeted job boards.
  • Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner directly with hiring managers to conduct intake calls, align on role requirements, provide candidate market guidance, and drive the interview process forward.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver a seamless, professional experience for candidates, keeping them informed and engaged at every step of the hiring journey.
  • Pipeline & ATS Management: Maintain accurate candidate data and requisition status within the ATS, ensuring high data integrity and efficient desk management.
