About the position
TransferGo is seeking a talented Corporate Development Associate to join their Finance team. The role involves analyzing competitive landscapes, preparing and evaluating complex financial models, supporting strategic growth plans and risk mitigation, researching acquisition targets, and working closely with investment bankers on debt and equity raises. The ideal candidate should have excellent academics in Business/Economics, at least 2 years of investment banking analyst experience, strong analytical and technical skills, and a strong command of M&A valuation and financial analyses.

Requirements
- Excellent academics in Business/Economics (minimum BA/BSc)
- 2+ years investment banking analyst experience
- Excellent analytical and technical skills, strong command of accounting and M&A concepts and ability to create complex financial models in Excel
- Strong command of M&A valuation and financial analyses, including discounted cash flow, accretion / dilution, and public and precedent transaction analysis
- Strong Fintech/FIG sector advisory and M&A transactional experience within a top-tier bank or consultancy, or corporate development experience
- Besides strong analytical skills, being process driven and have a methodological way of working, you need to have excellent communication skills (concise and direct) and experience of influencing a broad range of decision makers and stakeholders
- Able to work in extremely fast-paced environment, collaboratively, and autonomously
- Deep understanding of financial institutions and banking regulations
- Enthusiasm for taking on new responsibilities, even if outside areas of expertise
- Willingness and ability to travel
