Brand manager for the Philippines

TransferGo is seeking a Brand Manager for the Philippines to execute go-to-market strategies in new markets. The role involves conducting research on migrant communities abroad, proposing and executing marketing campaigns, managing brand communication strategy, researching and negotiating with influencers, providing feedback on copy and design, translating and localizing brand copy, suggesting relevant content for the blog, and tracking and analyzing advertising campaign performance. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of English and Tagalog (or Cebuano), experience with BTL campaigns and social media, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Conducting various research pieces on migrant communities abroad: money transfer habits, consumer behaviour, brand awareness, competitor analysis and more

Proposing and executing the most effective marketing campaigns from ideation to execution (both offline and online) with which to grow our customer base

Define and manage the brand communication strategy using a variety of media: TV, radio, OOH, social media, organic content, etc

Researching influencers we could work with — then negotiating with, and briefing them

Providing feedback on copy and design

Translating and localising the brand copy to Tagalog or Cebuano

Suggesting relevant content aimed at migrants from different new markets for our blog

Tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns

An excellent command of English and Tagalog (or Cebuano) is a must

Experience with BTL campaigns, influencers and social media is a plus

Good communication skills

The ability to work on ‘big picture’ things as well as day-to-day tactical stuff—all the while being results-driven and suited to a fast-paced, resilient startup environment

Experience launching, managing and optimising campaigns (both digital and offline) that build awareness and trust

Insights on Southern Asian markets is a big plus
