About the position
TransferGo is seeking a Brand Manager for the Philippines to execute go-to-market strategies in new markets. The role involves conducting research on migrant communities abroad, proposing and executing marketing campaigns, managing brand communication strategy, translating and localizing brand copy, and tracking campaign performance. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of English and Tagalog (or Cebuano), experience with BTL campaigns and social media, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Additionally, insights on Southern Asian markets and a marketing degree are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various research on migrant communities abroad, including money transfer habits, consumer behavior, brand awareness, and competitor analysis
- Propose and execute effective marketing campaigns to grow the customer base, both offline and online
- Define and manage the brand communication strategy using various media channels such as TV, radio, OOH, social media, and organic content
- Research and negotiate with influencers for potential collaborations
- Provide feedback on copy and design
- Translate and localize brand copy to Tagalog or Cebuano
- Suggest relevant content for the blog targeting migrants from different new markets
- Track and analyze the performance of advertising campaigns
- Have an excellent command of English and Tagalog (or Cebuano)
- Experience with BTL campaigns, influencers, and social media is a plus
- Possess good communication skills
- Ability to work on both big picture strategies and day-to-day tactical tasks in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience in launching, managing, and optimizing campaigns (digital and offline) to build awareness and trust
- Insights on Southern Asian markets is a plus
- Hold a marketing degree

Requirements
