About The Position

Medtronic is seeking a Coronary Senior Clinical Specialist to provide technical, educational, and sales support for the district's Coronary sales and customer-service objectives, with a heavy emphasis on CathWorks FFRangio. The role is the first line of contact for customers' daily operations at assigned accounts and supports implementation of the sales strategy in coordination with sales representatives and managers. A Clinical Specialist Manager and National Sales Director may assign primary sales responsibility to this role when no other sales representative is assigned to the business unit. This is a remote, field-based regional position rather than a role at a Medtronic site. The successful candidate must reside in the San Diego area, travel up to 70% within the region, and drive extensively among accounts. A valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance are required. The specialist represents Medtronic during procedures and implants, provides troubleshooting and technical assistance, and educates physicians, hospital personnel, office staff, and colleagues. The role also involves case documentation and follow-up, customer service, maintaining product and competitive knowledge, and communicating with district personnel and customers. The position requires extensive travel, physical activity, and working in clinical environments with exposure to infectious disease and radiation.

  • Must reside in the San Diego area.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed.
