About The Position

Delaware North is hiring a full-time Copywriter, Advertising and Digital to join its team at its global headquarters in Buffalo, New York. The role supports Delaware North's in-house creative agency, the Brand, Creative & Content Studio. The position starts at a minimum of $62,354 per year.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of writing experience in a professional setting.
• Must provide a writing sample or portfolio.
• Firsthand understanding of the casino industry, including its culture, psychology, and player types.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, English, communications, or marketing is preferred.
• A digital-first skillset and deep knowledge of the casino industry are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write engaging copy for digital and traditional channels to support customer acquisition, engagement, visitation, revenue, and other key performance goals.
• Turn marketing briefs into campaign concepts and materials, including emails, direct mail, websites, scripts, billboards, headers, and adapted campaign messaging.
• Edit, revise, and proofread content for accuracy, impact, consistency, and alignment with brand voice.
• Apply current advertising, social media, storytelling, and digital communication trends to recommend responsible strategies for attracting and retaining customers.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and Creative Directors on integrated concepts combining compelling copy with high-impact visuals.
• Build relationships across enterprise marketing by understanding client needs, brand requirements, project timelines, and efficiency expectations.
• Pursue continuous learning, contribute copywriting thought leadership, and strengthen business knowledge while completing assigned projects and goals.
