About The Position

DEX Imaging is seeking a Field Service Technician who is part problem-solver, part tech whisperer, and all-around customer service hero. This role involves fixing, tinkering, and making office life smoother, faster, and less frustrating by servicing copiers and printers. The company is open to training individuals with a mechanical/technical background, even if they don't have direct copier experience, provided they have the right attitude. Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic computer and networking knowledge is a plus
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Copier/printer repair experience
Automotive technician work experience
Appliance repair experience
Cable or satellite installation experience
HVAC or electrical work experience

Military technical experience

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair office technology equipment including copiers, printers, and multifunction devices
Perform preventative maintenance and routine service calls
Install and configure equipment at customer locations
Provide excellent customer support during onsite visits
Maintain accurate service records and communicate updates clearly
Manage assigned territory and service schedule efficiently
Work independently while staying connected with a supportive team
