Coordinator
About The Position
The Coordinator executes receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates process merchandise efficiently and effectively as a team. The role supports an excellent customer experience through customer engagement, store cleanliness and organization, and modeling exceptional customer service. The Coordinator organizes truck deliveries and merchandise flow to the sales floor, trains and mentors Associates, monitors team productivity, and ensures tasks are completed according to the store plan. The role also maintains backroom organization, merchandising and signage standards, safety, and compliance with applicable policies and programs. The Coordinator communicates priorities and progress with management and Associates, supports training and store goals, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

- One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive internal and external customer experience and model exceptional customer service.
- Promote honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
- Orchestrate truck deliveries and prioritize processing merchandise onto the sales floor.
- Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
- Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
- Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to support efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
- Ensure Associates complete tasks according to the store plan and reprioritize as needed.
- Monitor team productivity and coach Associates as necessary.
- Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
- Maintain merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards in the backroom.
- Ensure compliance with recycling and, where applicable, hazardous-waste programs.
- Communicate priorities and progress accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
