About The Position
Nugget Markets is seeking experienced, friendly food lovers to join its team of cooks. The Cook supports the kitchen by preparing items featured in the deli case, grab-and-go wall, and self-serve counters. Working at a fast pace, the Cook helps prepare entrees, salads, side dishes, and soups so fresh, abundant, high-quality products are ready for guests. The role also involves maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment and providing world-class guest service as needed. Individual associate hourly rates depend on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proficient knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Proficient knife skills.
- Background working in a high-volume setting, such as hotels or institutional cooking.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- A positive attitude.
