About The Position

Nugget Markets is seeking experienced, friendly food lovers to join its team of cooks. The Cook supports the kitchen by preparing items for the deli case, grab-and-go wall, and self-serve counters. Working at a fast pace, the Cook prepares entrees, salads, side dishes, and soups to ensure fresh, abundant, high-quality products are available to guests. The role also involves maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment and providing world-class guest service as needed. Individual hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficient knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Proficient knife skills.
• Background working in a high-volume setting, such as hotels or institutional cooking.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• A positive attitude.
