About The Position
Nugget Markets is seeking experienced, friendly food lovers to join its team of cooks. Cooks support the kitchen by preparing items for the deli case, grab-and-go wall, and self-serve counters. They work at a fast pace to prepare entrees, salads, side dishes, and soups, ensuring fresh, abundant, high-quality products are available to guests while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment. Cooks also provide world-class service to guests as needed. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. The listed pay range is $20–$22.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proficient knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Proficient knife skills.
- Background working in a high-volume setting, such as hotels or institutional cooking.
- Good communication skills and an eye for detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- A positive attitude.
