About The Position

Nugget Markets is seeking positive, service-minded Baristas for its Coffee & Juice Bar. The role involves sharing product knowledge, promoting department items, and providing outstanding guest service. Baristas prepare fresh-squeezed juices, whole-fruit smoothies, acai bowls, and gourmet coffee beverages to order while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment. They also operate a cash register and occasionally ring up grocery items. The listed hourly rate is $20–$22.50; individual rates depend on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to memorize drink recipes.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of English, including the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules, and signage.
• Sufficient mathematical skills to operate a cash register, provide proper change, and correct errors.
• A positive attitude.
• Experience with coffee or juices/smoothies is sought.
