About The Position
Nugget Markets is seeking experienced, friendly food lovers to join its team of cooks. Cooks support the kitchen by preparing items for the deli case, grab'n'go wall, and self-serve counters. In a fast-paced setting, they prepare entrees, salads, side dishes, and soups to keep fresh, abundant, high-quality products available to guests. They maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment and provide world-class guest service as needed. The listed pay range is $20–$22.50 per hour; individual associate rates depend on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proficient knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Proficient knife skills.
- Background working in a high-volume setting, such as hotels or institutional cooking.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Positive attitude.
