About The Position
Nugget Markets is seeking experienced, friendly food lovers to join its team of cooks. The cook supports the kitchen by preparing items for the deli case, grab-and-go wall, and self-serve counters. In a fast-paced setting, the cook prepares entrees, salads, side dishes, and soups to ensure fresh, abundant, high-quality products are available to guests while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment. The cook also provides world-class guest service as needed. Individual hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. The listed pay range is $20–$22.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proficient knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Proficient knife skills.
- Background working in a high-volume setting, such as hotels or institutional cooking.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Positive attitude.
