About The Position

Seasonal pizza and sandwich maker in Sam’s Alley. The role is suited to positive, outgoing, and energetic individuals willing to learn and practice Schweitzer’s culture of hospitality and teamwork in a fun, fast-paced environment. Prepare and assemble pizzas and sandwiches using kitchen equipment while ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety. Maintain proper food handling, storage, rotation, and presentation in compliance with health codes and kitchen procedures. Operate as a cashier when needed and provide friendly, efficient guest service.

Requirements

• Minimum education required: English reading and writing.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Idaho Food Safety Certification; training is provided.

Nice To Haves

• Basic cooking or kitchen skills preferred.
• Computer and point-of-sale experience preferred.
• Three months of kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble pizzas and sandwiches using kitchen equipment while ensuring quality and consistency.
• Follow food safety standards and maintain proper food handling, storage, rotation, and presentation in compliance with health codes and kitchen procedures.
• Operate as a cashier when needed, handle basic monetary transactions, and provide friendly, efficient guest service.
• Work with the Kitchen Supervisor and team members to uphold hospitality, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
