Market Bistro Cook
About The Position
The Cook works in the kitchen at Homestead at Rochester Campus in Rochester, Minnesota, preparing food and serving as the Market Bistro server during lunch. The role includes preparing daily offerings, greeting residents and families, and operating the register. The Cook prepares food to meet or exceed the community’s hospitality and service standards, prepares meals for special dietary needs as directed by menus, and helps document temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules. The position offers up to full-time hours and pays $23.00–$25.00, based on years of experience. The stated shift is 7 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required.
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous fine dining experience preferred.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food that meets or exceeds the community’s hospitality and service standards.
