About The Position

The Bistro Attendant provides exceptional service to guests in the hotel’s Bistro. The role includes food and beverage service, assisting guests, and maintaining the Bistro’s cleanliness, organization, and ambiance. Guest service is the primary responsibility, with the aim of creating positive and memorable culinary experiences.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English, with basic food and beverage knowledge.
• Ability to work well under pressure while retaining tact and composure when resolving guest complaints.
• Food Handler’s Certification if required by local regulations.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally.
• Anticipate and address guest needs and provide personalized service.
• Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations.

• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards.
• Stock and maintain the lounge with appropriate supplies.
• Ensure proper food presentation and temperature control.
• Clean and sanitize work areas regularly.
• Maintain the Bistro’s cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor the lounge environment and maintain a comfortable, inviting atmosphere.
• Address maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete daily checklists and reports.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory control and ordering.
• Resolve guest complaints with tact and composure.
