About The Position

The Bistro Server provides food and beverage service to hotel guests, helping ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience. The role includes preparing and serving food and drinks, taking orders, stocking supplies, maintaining and wiping down tables, engaging with guests, and cleaning and preparing the area for the next day. Servers may work in several roles during a shift, including cook, server, bartender, barista, and banquet server. Shifts usually begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at 10:30 p.m., or when closing cleanup is complete.

Requirements

Flexibility to work shifts and report for scheduled shifts.
Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions.
Weekend availability.

Nice To Haves

Food and beverage experience.
Customer service work experience in the hospitality field.
Experience with hotel operation systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, stocked, and sanitized prep cooler.
Work multiple roles during a shift, including cook, server, bartender, barista, and banquet server.
Follow cleanliness and food-handling standards, and use chemicals and equipment according to manufacturers’ guidelines.
Set up and maintain food and beverage items during food service, in meeting rooms, and at special guest functions, ensuring appropriate quantities and temperatures.
Follow company policies and procedures for serving alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer.
Clean the service area after food service according to standards and procedures.
Carry out reasonable requests from management.
Prepare and serve food and drinks, take orders, stock supplies, wipe down tables, engage with hotel guests, and prepare the area for the next day.
