About The Position

Fluidstack is seeking a Controls Engineer for the Capacity Delivery team. This role is crucial in accelerating the deployment of gigawatt-scale compute infrastructure for AI. The Capacity Delivery team is responsible for the technical execution of building data centers, from initial drawings to final energization, aiming for months rather than years. They focus on designing data centers that can be built rapidly and efficiently, with lessons learned from each site incorporated into a standardized reference design to enable scaling to 50GW+.

Requirements

  • Experience engineering building or industrial controls on mission-critical projects.
  • Ability to read and write sequences of operations.
  • Experience reviewing integrator work and providing specific feedback.
  • Proficiency in debugging controls issues from the points list upwards.

Nice To Haves

  • Niagara or Ignition experience.
  • EPMS platforms experience.
  • Networking for controls experience.
  • Commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own controls engineering for assigned sites, including BMS and EPMS design review, integration oversight, and commissioning support.
  • Review controls submittments against the standard, covering architecture, points, sequences, and graphics.
  • Oversee integrator programming quality before it is deployed in the field.
  • Provide engineering answers within hours to support Level 3 through 5 commissioning.
