About The Position

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, aiming to deliver 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. This involves rethinking every layer of the stack, from acquiring power to designing, building, and operating data centers. The company operates with extreme ownership, velocity, first principles thinking, and a deep commitment to the problem space. The Commissioning Team is central to this mission, working on standing up a commissioning program for over 50GW of capacity this decade, running commissioning and QA-QC for novel modular data centers, automating advanced commissioning levels, and ensuring the reliability of critical systems.

Requirements

  • Commissioned building controls on mission-critical projects through integrated systems testing.
  • Experience with point-to-point verification on thousands of points and maintaining accurate tracking.
  • Ability to critically review control sequences and identify edge cases.
  • Proficiency in scripting or automating repetitive test work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Niagara, Ignition, or major BMS platforms.
  • EPMS integration experience.
  • PLC programming experience.
  • Experience with data center liquid cooling controls.

Responsibilities

  • Commission BMS and EPMS controls for data centers, including point-to-point verification, full sequence validation, and integrated testing.
  • Verify every sequence of operations against design specifications and ensure failure modes behave as intended.
  • Run alarm rationalization and graphics validation to provide operators with trustworthy systems from day one.
  • Automate test execution and reporting to accelerate Level 4 and Level 5 commissioning across sites.
