Contract Nurse (LPN/RN)
About The Position
Aspire Senior Living East Prairie is seeking a compassionate and skilled Contract Nurse (LPN/RN) to provide care to residents at its skilled nursing facility. The position is an 8-week local contract, with the opportunity to join the team after completing the contract. It is full-time night work with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. Pay is $40 per hour for LPNs and $45 per hour for RNs. Local contract candidates are intended; candidates from outside the local area are responsible for their own housing or lodging and travel-related expenses, including gas and transportation.
Requirements
- LPN or RN qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Compassion and dedication to providing exceptional resident care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date resident records, including progress notes and medication administration records.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to exceptional resident care.
