About The Position

The Consumer Lending Sales Associate provides customer service and supports consumer lending sales at an assigned branch. The role helps customers identify loan solutions suited to their needs, processes credit applications, reviews customer credit and financial information, and works to resolve past-due balances. The associate is also responsible for meeting individual and branch sales goals, following applicable consumer lending laws, and handling payments and deposits. The role requires physical presence at the assigned branch, with work hours based on the schedule and the business hours of the time zone served. Saturday work may be required seasonally and as business needs require; the company may change the schedule to address business needs.

The position offers a base salary of $18.00–$23.58 per hour and eligibility for a monthly incentive based on individual and company performance. Full-time employees receive a benefits package; details are provided through the company's benefits website.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a customer service or sales position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar programs, and ability to learn financial services programs.
• Ability to complete essential duties and functions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and interpersonal skills in demanding situations.
• Must obtain applicable required licenses to sell insurance products offered by the branch.
• Must be physically present in the office and perform work-related tasks at the assigned branch location, except in the stated emergency circumstance.

Nice To Haves

• Cash handling, selling, and/or collecting experience.
• Some college coursework.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by proactively solving problems, presenting loan solutions based on customer needs, and presenting available sales products.
• Process credit loan applications.
• Analyze credit and financial information for current and potential customers.
• Contact customers with past-due balances to offer possible solutions and resolve delinquency.
• Meet or exceed individual and branch goals related to sales of company products and services.
• Learn and follow applicable Federal, State, and Local consumer application laws.
• Maintain a cash drawer, process payments, and deliver daily deposits to specified financial institutions as required.
• Perform additional functions as needed based on market demand and branch staffing to provide consistent customer service.
• Obtain applicable required licenses to sell insurance products offered to customers by the branch.
• Perform work-related tasks at the assigned branch location, except in the event of an emergency as determined by the company in consultation with applicable regulatory agencies as necessary.
