About The Position

Sentry is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial, industrial, manufacturing, agricultural, and infrastructure projects throughout the Midwest and across the United States. This position is for someone who enjoys being in the field, leading crews, coordinating subcontractors, solving problems, and driving projects forward. Project assignments may require travel, extended stays near project locations, or relocation on a project-by-project basis.

Requirements

• 8+ years of construction experience preferred
• Previous Superintendent or field leadership experience required
• Experience with commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel based on project needs

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations from project startup through completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and self-perform crews
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
• Conduct site safety meetings and enforce safety standards
• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or productivity
• Maintain quality standards and ensure work is completed correctly
• Communicate project progress with project managers, owners, and stakeholders
• Manage manpower, equipment, and daily jobsite activities
