Construction Laborer – Travel Required
About The Position
COMANCO is hiring full-time Construction Laborers to work at construction sites in different states. The company provides hotel or motel accommodations, transportation, and daily per diem when employees travel away from home. Candidates who do not already know how to weld plastic liner may be trained, provided they are willing to learn, work hard and safely, respect coworkers, and travel. The work involves placing geosynthetic and insulating materials on the ground, securing materials with sandbags, trimming excess material, sealing borders with heat-producing machines or sewing, and grinding, sanding, or polishing surfaces. The position requires physical field work and travel, including staying on the road for a few months. Candidates must pass a post-offer drug test and physical agility exam; references are checked.

Responsibilities
- Place geosynthetic and insulating material on the ground using clamps to pull and position rolls.
- Fill, lift, and place sandbags to prevent insulating material from moving.
- Cut excess insulating material with a knife.
- Seal the borders of insulating material using heat-producing machines and/or sewing.
- Grind, sand, or polish surfaces.
- Travel to construction sites in different states and stay on the road for a few months.
