About The Position

COMANCO is hiring full-time Construction Laborers to work at construction sites in different states. The company provides hotel or motel accommodations, transportation, and daily per diem when employees travel away from home. Employees who do not know how to weld plastic liner may be trained. The role involves physical field work and working safely and cooperatively with coworkers. Travel may require staying on the road for a few months.

COMANCO is a nationwide environmental protection construction company headquartered in Plant City, Florida. It completes civil construction work for private companies and public agencies across industries including mining, waste management, petroleum, agriculture, chemicals, and entertainment.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to perform physical work in field conditions.
• Construction or manufacturing experience.
• Must be willing to travel and stay on the road for a few months.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test and physical agility exam.
• References will be checked.

Responsibilities

• Place geosynthetic and insulating material on the ground, using clamps to pull and position rolls.
• Fill, lift, and place sandbags to prevent insulating material from moving.
• Cut excess insulating material with a knife.
• Seal the borders of insulating material using heat-producing machines and/or sewing.
• Grind, sand, or polish surfaces.
• Work safely and cooperatively with coworkers at construction sites.
