About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring a Construction Laborer to assist with safe and effective home improvement installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role is based in Orlando, Florida, with a Monday-Friday schedule and a 6:30 AM start time. The approximate pay is $17-$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Paid training and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing bath or shower fixtures and install a new tub or pan and wall surround; update plumbing if needed.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols during installations.
