About The Position

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Construction Equipment Field Technician. Cleveland Brothers Caterpillar is seeking highly skilled Diesel Technicians for Field positions working on Large Mining and construction equipment as well as other supporting equipment. The focus of this position will be to provide mechanical repairs on a mine site in the Hazelton PA area. Cleveland Brothers will provide you the necessary training and specialty tools to be successful as a technician working for the largest equipment company in Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Relevant working experience
• Previous experience working on heavy equipment
• Knowledge of diesel engines
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Knowledge of electronics
• Intermediate computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Overall stamina
• Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing
• Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouching
• Listening and speaking
• Good motor coordination skills
• Coordination of eyes, hands, and feet
• Verbal intelligence and numerical intelligence
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Independently and successfully diagnose and repair equipment
• Overhaul engines and other major components
• Operate and maintain all types of Mining and construction equipment
• Communicate, and problem solve with customers
• Work overtime as needed
