About The Position

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., the Cat® dealership serving western and central Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, is seeking a motivated Construction Equipment Field Technician. The position requires independently diagnosing and repairing equipment, communicating and problem-solving effectively with customers, and prioritizing customer satisfaction. The role involves working in an industrial environment with significant environmental and physical demands, and operating company or related vehicles in compliance with DOT and company requirements.

Requirements

Knowledge of diesel engines.
Knowledge of hydraulics.
Knowledge of electronics.
Intermediate computer skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good human relations skills and the ability to communicate and problem-solve with customers.
Graduate of a technical school or military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Must meet DOT regulatory and CBE requirements for operating CBE or related vehicles and sign required documentation.
Good motor coordination, including coordination of eyes, hands, and feet.
Verbal and numerical intelligence.

Responsibilities

Independently diagnose and repair equipment.
