About The Position

The Concierge position is part of the Rooms Division and reports to the Chef Concierge. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must meet specific criteria in addition to the Service Standards for All Employees. This role involves extensive guest interaction, managing bookings, and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements

• Prior hotel experience preferred.
• Experience in a public/guest contact position.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong phone etiquette.
• Strong computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of essential hospitality standards and company policies.
• Develop and maintain strong relations with guests, vendors, and internal departments.
• Demonstrate effective time management and resource management skills.
• Book restaurants, activities, and babysitting services using systems such as Opera, RA, and Knowcross.
• Assist guests with booking flights, transportation, and Amtrak trains.
• Project a professional and knowledgeable demeanor at all times.
• Provide professional communication in all environments.
• Remain poised, polite, courteous, and helpful under all circumstances.
• Learn to evaluate guests based on their preferences.
