About The Position

Concierge Who We Look For: We are looking for an individual who can provide support to our dynamic front office team. You will deliver an enjoyable and positive experience for guests from arrival through their departure. In this role, you will also oversee parts of their stay and ensure that each experience is unique and unforgettable.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in Front Desk or Front Office
  • Some Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying required of luggage, packages, and boxes up to 50 lbs carried a distance of up to 20 feet.
  • Bending/Kneeling required-full range of motion required to retrieve guest luggage and other material needed by guest.
  • Mobile Position requiring movement behind the desk, within the hotel, and to / from the storage room, continuous standing for entire shift.
  • Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing guest needs, adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate expertise when offering recommendations to guests
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.
  • Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Assure that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current.
  • Knows what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establishes close contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.
  • Stores and retrieves guest deliveries and packages.
  • Utilizes a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements the guest has made and to assure proper billing.
