About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a temporary, full-time Concierge Security Guard to provide security while maintaining a welcoming environment at a high-profile site in the Greater Los Angeles Area. The role combines hospitality and visitor engagement with observation, access control, screening, patrol, incident response, and protection of people, property, and exhibits. Day, swing, and grave shifts are available; schedule details will be discussed during the interview process. The hourly wage is $21. A uniform is provided at no cost, and the site offers amenities including a restaurant and cafe and employer-paid parking. Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States.
Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card).
Have completed additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
Have previous experience operating walk-through and handheld metal detectors.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Have strong report-writing skills.
Have strong proficiency with technology.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience, including experience in hospitality, hotels, corporate lobbies, theme parks, or similar settings.
Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors professionally and courteously.
Conduct security screenings using walk-through and handheld metal detectors, including wanding individuals when needed.
Maintain a welcoming and professional presence across the venue and assist with directions, general inquiries, and visitor support.
Document observed events and incidents and write detailed incident reports.
Respond promptly to incidents or potential threats and coordinate emergency teams.
Conduct regular patrols to help ensure premises safety.
Control access to secure areas and protect property and exhibits.
Control guest and employee ingress and egress.
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
Communicate security concerns and collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
Collaborate with site management and the security team to ensure site safety.
Protect the safety of individuals and property.
