About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Temporary Concierge Security Guard in Sherman Oaks, California. The role involves monitoring security systems and surveillance screens, identifying potential threats, protecting people and property, and maintaining safety across the premises. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The hourly wage is $20.85. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete the additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training can be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
