About The Position

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States.
Have previous security experience operating walk-through and handheld metal detectors.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed the additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; the posting notes that additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process.
Have strong report-writing skills.
Have strong proficiency with technology.

Customer service experience, including hospitality, hotel, corporate lobby, theme park, or similar experience; it is welcomed but not required.
Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors professionally and courteously.
Conduct security screenings with walk-through and handheld metal detectors, including wanding individuals as needed, to detect prohibited or unauthorized items.
Provide a welcoming and professional presence throughout the venue.
Assist visitors with directions, general inquiries, and other support.
Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports and communicating security concerns.
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats and coordinate emergency teams.
Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
Control access to secure areas and protect property and exhibits.
Control ingress and egress for guests and employees.
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
Collaborate with site management and the security team to ensure site safety.
