About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Flex Security Guard for a museum site in San Jose, California. The guard protects people and property by patrolling sensitive areas, monitoring access, responding to alarms and incidents, and documenting actions taken. The role requires strong observation skills and the ability to assess environments and respond appropriately to potential risks.

There is no set schedule. The employee must be available any day of the week and for day, swing, or overnight shifts, depending on scheduling needs. The position involves standing and walking throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least one year of security experience.
• Be flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift, including day, swing, or overnight shifts.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and an additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
