About The Position

The Concessions Cashier prepares and serves concession items and beverages to guests, ensures food is presented properly, and uses a point-of-sale system to process payments. The role requires excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy. The position pays $16.00 per hour and is tip eligible. Part-time benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. The position will remain open until February 5, 2027.

Requirements

• Ability to learn to use a point-of-sale system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with coworkers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months of food service industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
• Prepare food and beverages, including pouring and serving drinks, and learn all areas of concession operations.
• Maintain stock and supply levels and communicate low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including disposing of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• Check guests’ identification as required by state and federal regulations to verify the minimum age for purchasing alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
