About The Position

The Cashier - Concessions takes and fulfills customer orders, prepares concession foods, processes payments, and maintains a clean, safe, and well-stocked kiosk. The role includes answering guest questions, checking identification for age-restricted items, and maintaining kiosk records under a supervisor’s guidance. A valid TN ABC license is required.

The position requires operating a point-of-sale terminal, handling cash and credit card transactions, and responding calmly and clearly to guest requests, including concerns from angry guests. The employee must complete required training and knowledge checks, follow company uniform and appearance policies, and be able to stand for 6–8 hours per shift and lift 30 pounds several times per shift.

Requirements

• Valid TN ABC license.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale terminal, make change correctly, and complete credit card transactions.
• Ability to stand for a 6–8 hour shift.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds several times per shift.
• Ability to effectively check identification for all guests purchasing alcohol.
• Ability to read menus to sight-impaired guests and respond clearly to guest requests.
• Ability to hear well in a loud environment.
• Ability to complete all training steps and knowledge checks.
• Neat dress and grooming in accordance with company uniform and appearance policies.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and assemble them correctly.
• Prepare foods such as popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, and nachos according to standard formulas or directions.
• Check identification for age-restricted items, including alcoholic beverages.
• Accept customer payments through a cash register and computerized cash register system.
• Check food items to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Keep the assigned area clean, sanitary, and safe.
• Answer questions about kiosk locations and prices.
• Maintain kiosk records of products used and food served under a supervisor’s guidance.
• Keep the kiosk stocked with needed items and restock at the end of each shift.
• Respond calmly to angry guests and notify a manager.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed and assist coworkers as necessary.
