About The Position

Riverside Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Computer Repair Technician to provide onsite hardware and networking support. The role supports desktops, laptops, and servers, performs installs, moves, adds, and changes, and provides technical assistance for computer systems and hardware. It also involves follow-up services, problem escalation, customer communication, system diagnostics, and inventory management. The position requires maintaining professionalism and adapting to varying customer-driven shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to travel when required.
• Sense of urgency.
• Availability for varying shifts depending on customers’ needs.
• Regular, reliable attendance.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a professional presence.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team.
• Ability to move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and exceptional driving record.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights of 3–40 feet.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

Nice To Haves

• A+, Cisco, and HP certifications are highly desired.
• One year in a field service support role supporting a variety of hardware and networking equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite hardware and networking support for customers, including support for desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor, and dress.
• Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes, and test and inspect units for quality.
• Communicate with customers about repair steps, parts ordered, and estimated completion time.
• Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems and hardware.
• Respond to customer emails seeking assistance.
• Monitor daily computer system performance and run diagnostic programs to identify problems.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Prioritize and review work orders to schedule daily work.
• Develop working knowledge of operating standards, practices, and procedures.
• Perform inventory management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Travel when required and drive a company vehicle for deliveries.
