About The Position

24-MAG LLC is seeking experienced U.S. compliance attorneys for a remote consulting engagement supporting advanced AI training and legal-quality assessment initiatives. Contributors will review compliance-related legal materials, develop scenario-based analyses, evaluate AI-generated legal outputs, and provide detailed feedback grounded in current U.S. compliance standards. Prior AI experience is not required; substantive compliance-law expertise is the primary qualification. This independent-contractor engagement is limited to contributors in the United States and pays $100–$180 per hour. Work may involve legal-document review, regulatory analysis, scenario development, AI-output evaluation, written feedback, and collaboration with legal, project, and technical stakeholders. Assignments and regulatory scenarios may change with evaluation needs. Work must not use confidential, privileged, client-specific, protected work-product, regulatory-restricted, or other non-public information belonging to any third party.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
Active attorney licence in good standing.
3–10+ years of recent substantive compliance-law experience in the United States.
Currently practising in compliance law.
Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory and compliance frameworks and current U.S. compliance standards.
Experience reviewing complex legal and regulatory documentation.
Strong regulatory research capabilities.
Excellent legal-writing skills and the ability to explain complex compliance concepts clearly and concisely.
Strong critical-thinking and analytical abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience identifying legal ambiguity and regulatory risk.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort collaborating with technical and non-legal stakeholders.

Judicial clerkship experience.
Experience teaching law or legal writing.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze legal documents and compliance materials, annotating them with substantive regulatory and legal commentary.
Identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, compliance concerns, legal risks, and potential compliance pitfalls.
Evaluate materials against applicable U.S. compliance standards and apply professional legal judgment to complex regulatory scenarios.
Analyze nuanced compliance and regulatory questions, applying current U.S. law to hypothetical and practical scenarios and researching regulatory principles when needed.
Review AI-generated compliance and legal responses for legal accuracy, logical consistency, completeness, and alignment with professional compliance standards.
Provide targeted feedback to improve AI model precision and reliability.
Develop realistic compliance-law questions and scenarios, structured answers, and rationales reflecting current legal challenges.
Identify ambiguous scenarios that require refinement and support the development of legal evaluation datasets.
Collaborate remotely with project leads and technical specialists, communicating nuanced compliance concepts clearly.
Provide feedback on review and evaluation processes and suggest improvements to legal-quality protocols.
Maintain consistent standards across repeated evaluation workflows.
Complete work without using confidential, privileged, client-specific, protected work-product, regulatory-restricted, or otherwise non-public third-party information.
