About The Position

Canopy by Hilton Chicago Central Loop, Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Central Loop, and Seville Chicago by Fabio Viviani are seeking a strategic, creative, results-driven Complex Director of Marketing. This dedicated, on-property leadership role owns marketing strategy and execution across the dual-branded hotel complex and its destination dining experiences, including transient guestrooms, group and meetings, food and beverage, programming, partnerships, and guest experiences. The Director serves as the property’s marketing leader and commercial partner, developing integrated strategies to strengthen positioning, increase market share, generate demand, and drive measurable revenue. The role partners with hotel leadership, Sales, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage, Hilton, SHG Corporate Marketing, ownership, and external partners to integrate marketing with the overall commercial strategy. It balances the distinct objectives of the hotel brands while driving awareness, engagement, and revenue across the property’s offerings. The Director owns the annual marketing strategy, budget, and calendar; leads digital marketing, social media, brand and creative, public relations, influencer marketing, CRM and email, food and beverage marketing, and group and meetings marketing; and develops partnerships, programming, and local market engagement. The role manages external partners and marketing investments, evaluates performance against commercial outcomes, and presents strategies, results, and recommendations to hotel leadership, SHG Corporate Marketing, and ownership. Success is measured through property performance and market share growth, including total revenue, RevPAR index, guestroom and food and beverage revenue, group and meeting revenue generation, digital traffic and conversion, paid media return on ad spend, email revenue, social media performance, influencer campaign results, earned media, and marketing-attributed traffic and revenue. The ideal candidate is a commercially minded, hands-on marketing leader who can move between strategic planning and execution, personally shaping how the hotels and property experience appear in the market. The role may involve flexible hours to support events, content capture, media visits, activations, and hotel programming. The hiring process may include interviews, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment. Paid Time Off is available to eligible associates under the Company’s policy; specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process. Schulte Hospitality Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
