About The Position

The Complex Director of Finance oversees financial operations for the hotel complex, aligning financial strategy with hotel goals to support profitability and efficiency. The role directs financial planning, analysis, annual plans, projections, and budgets, and provides data-driven advice to hotel management, ownership, and department heads. It maintains compliance with GAAP and protects hotel assets through financial controls, while improving the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of reporting systems and processes. The director also oversees and authorizes financial transactions and cultivates a high-performing team through performance management, professional development, and recognition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations and align financial strategy with hotel strategic goals to optimize profitability and efficiency.
• Direct preparation of annual plans, projections, and budgets, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
• Advise hotel management, ownership, and department heads with data-driven recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and safeguard hotel assets through strong financial controls.
• Oversee financial reporting systems and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
• Oversee and authorize hotel sales, purchases, salaries, and expenses to maintain fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency.
• Promote team engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs.
