About The Position
Town and Country Resort is seeking a seasoned Director of Finance to join its Executive Committee and lead the financial operations of a high-volume resort in San Diego. The resort has 671 guest rooms, multiple restaurants and bars, and extensive meeting and event space. The role calls for a strategic finance leader who can interpret financial results, influence business decisions, and help guide the resort’s future.
Responsibilities
- Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Partner with the General Manager and Executive Team to drive profitability and business performance.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable business decisions.
- Oversee cash management, capital planning, audits, and compliance.
- Analyze labor, purchasing, inventory, and operational costs to identify opportunities and risks.
- Ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant.
- Develop and mentor the finance team.
- Participate in strategic planning and help shape the direction of the resort.
