About The Position

The Community Outreach & Candidate Engagement Intern will support efforts to raise awareness of our programs and help build a strong pipeline of prospective Candidates. This role will assist with community outreach, relationship-building, event coordination, marketing campaigns, and direct engagement with prospective participants and referral partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in education, social work, workforce development, technology, or a related field; OR equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Comfortable engaging with people professionally, on the phone, in person, and by digital communication
  • Proactive with strong initiative

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with outreach, events, social media, or relationship-building
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, spreadsheets, or project management tools

Responsibilities

  • Assist with outreach to prospective Candidates through email, phone, social media, and partner referrals.
  • Help respond to program inquiries and schedule informational conversations.
  • Support Candidate follow-up efforts and communication tracking.
  • Help maintain an organized outreach pipeline.
  • Research potential referral partners, organizations, schools, and agencies.
  • Assist with outreach to community stakeholders.
  • Help coordinate relationship-building efforts with partners.
  • Support partner follow-up and communication.
  • Assist in planning and promoting Virtual information sessions.
  • Help with coordination of Candidate meetups.
  • Support the team with Community outreach events.
  • Help manage coordination and attendee communications.
  • Assist with outreach campaigns across email, social media, Partner communications, and Recruitment messaging.
  • Help draft promotional content.
  • Track campaign performance and engagement metrics.
  • Research new state markets and referral networks.
  • Identify potential outreach opportunities.
  • Participate in business development activities to support program expansion and sustainability.
  • Other duties and projects assigned.
