Community Manager Berger Communities is hiring a Community Manager for The Shoreline Apartments in Cleveland, OH. Requirements
- Property management or multifamily housing experience
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team
- Strong leasing, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- A positive, team-oriented leader who takes ownership and pride in their community
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance preferred
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property management software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall financial performance of the community
- Set and achieve leasing, occupancy, and retention goals
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing onsite team
- Handle budgeting, expenses, and capital planning
- Oversee the full resident lifecycle, from prospect to renewal
- Ensure rent collection and manage delinquency and legal processes as needed
- Partner with the Service Manager to maintain curb appeal, apartment readiness, and community standards
- Stay informed on the Cleveland multifamily market and competitive properties
- Create a positive resident experience through strong customer service and community engagement
- Drive leasing success through marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs
