The Community Manager oversees day-to-day operations of an assigned property, including its staff, activities, and resources, to achieve budgeted financial and operational goals. The role ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable laws and regulations governing multifamily housing. The manager contributes to property budgeting and revenue performance; oversees financial activity, vendor invoices, expenditures, leasing and lease enforcement; and develops marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals. The role also supports resident satisfaction and retention, oversees service-request standards and property inspections, supervises and develops staff, and maintains the client/owner relationship. It includes preparing financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports. For California properties, the role also manages lease documentation using the California-specific Lease File Checklist. The position is based in an office environment with frequent possible exposure to outdoor conditions at the property. Local travel may be required for bank deposits, training, outreach events, or other job duties. Lease-up and build-to-rent (BTR) experience are strongly preferred.
