About The Position

Roxborough Memorial Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is a 131-bed community hospital serving Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, and northwest Philadelphia. The Community Liaison partners with hospital administration to develop relationships with referring physicians and community partners and support beneficial referral practices for the hospital, behavioral health unit, and physician practices. The role shares updates about organizational initiatives, including new service lines, quality scores, and marketing strategies.

The liaison develops, manages, and expands provider and physician relationships through activities such as relationship building, marketing, public relations, customer service, and patient referral coordination. The role also facilitates education, intervention, and continuity of care with community providers, families, and caretakers, and provides assessment and support for people presenting with behavioral health needs in the community.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or hold a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Three years of experience in referral and network development, sales, or physician relations.
• Good interpersonal skills, writing and spelling skills, and telephone etiquette.
• Ability to interface sensitively with community members, physicians, and employees.
• Community literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.

Nice To Haves

• An RN license in the practicing state is preferred.
• Clinical experience in a mental health setting is highly preferred.
