Community Liaison (Sign on Bonus!)
About The Position
Holisticare Hospice is seeking a self-driven, compassionate Community Liaison to serve the Southern Ocean County area. The Community Liaison represents Holisticare Hospice and promotes its hospice services throughout the community, building trust-based relationships with referral sources, physicians, and healthcare partners to help patients and families access care. The role supports awareness and preference for hospice services and drives census growth. The position includes outreach to healthcare professionals and community partners, as well as initial conversations with patients and families about hospice care. The Community Liaison explains the organization’s services and philosophy and facilitates consent with empathy and respect. The posting offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, an average base pay range of $90,000–$100,000 per year, and uncapped commission.
Requirements
- At least two years of healthcare sales or marketing experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with key staff, marketing contacts, and clinical staff to ensure a thorough understanding of hospice services.
- Proven ability to generate and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts, including physicians, healthcare professionals, and community agencies.
- Willingness to drive, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; additional experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
- Hospice or palliative-care marketing experience.
- Prior clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with physicians and healthcare partners to strengthen collaboration and trust within the medical community.
- Conduct regular outreach advocating for hospice services and reflecting the organization’s commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.
- Position the hospice as the provider of choice across the service area and help exceed growth and census goals.
- Drive referral growth through regular visits with referring physicians, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Lead initial conversations with patients and families about hospice care, explain services and philosophy, and facilitate consent with empathy and respect.
