About The Position

Holisticare Hospice is seeking a self-driven, compassionate Community Liaison to serve the Southern Ocean County area. The Community Liaison (also described as a Hospice Marketer / Sales Representative) represents Holisticare Hospice and promotes its specialized hospice services throughout the community. The role focuses on building trust-based relationships with referral sources, physicians, and healthcare partners so that patients and families can access hospice care. The position supports awareness and preference for hospice services and contributes to census growth while representing the organization’s compassionate, patient-centered approach to end-of-life care. The position includes outreach to healthcare organizations and professionals, as well as initial conversations with patients and families about hospice care. The Community Liaison explains the organization’s services and philosophy and facilitates consent with empathy and respect. The stated average base pay range is $90,000–$100,000 per year, plus uncapped commission. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is also advertised; final compensation depends on relevant experience and position responsibilities and is confirmed at the end of the interview process.

Requirements

At least two years of healthcare sales or marketing experience.
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with key staff, marketing contacts, and clinical staff to ensure a thorough understanding of hospice services.
Demonstrated ability to generate and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts, including physicians, healthcare professionals, and community agencies.
Willingness to drive, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; additional experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
Hospice or palliative care marketing experience strongly preferred.
Prior clinical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Establish and nurture relationships with physicians and healthcare partners to strengthen collaboration and trust within the medical community.
Conduct regular outreach as an advocate for Holisticare Hospice and its compassionate, high-quality care.
Help position the hospice as the provider of choice across the service area and contribute to growth and census goals.
Drive referrals through regular, intentional visits with referring physicians, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Lead initial conversations with patients and families about hospice care, explain the organization’s services and philosophy, and facilitate consent with empathy and respect.
