The Community Assistant supports the property management team in meeting occupancy and resident-retention goals by handling administrative work related to leasing, marketing, and customer service at the community. The role assists with sales and leasing, resident move-ins and move-outs, resident events, outreach, and day-to-day communication with prospects and residents. It also serves as an after-hours liaison, responding to emergencies within the required period and taking at least one on-call shift per week. Move-in, move-out, and unit-turn dates are mandatory work dates; time off on those dates requires advance written approval from the Community Manager. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. Physical demands include extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting; bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined areas; working indoors and outdoors in all weather; and maneuvering up to 25 pounds independently or 50 pounds with assistance. Occasional or regular travel may be needed to assist other properties or attend training and business meetings.
